ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Hi! I’m Lonni Omarii,
I’m a digital graphic designer of Caribbean heritage working and studying in London.
I was drawn to the creative industry through my love of fashion and music from a young age. I’ve been lucky enough to be able to pursue these passions as a career, through designing for these industries for work and as passion projects. Having developed a strong interest in fashion, music, and game culture, I love exploring these concepts through digital design.
Being able to study at Central Saint Martins has supported my exploration of designing narrative-based projects, designed to engage the audience and celebrate the culture. It’s important to me as a designer to lean into the digital world and explore digital technology as a tool for create an interactive brand experience, engaging content - social media and activations.
Outside of University I’ve worked in the fashion and music industries, working for independent brands with strong values and ambition has helped me develop transferable skills and develop my curiosity for how digital design can contribute to the identity of brands within these industries.
