ALGAE RIVER


BRIEF:

Course-led collaboration between CSM Graphic Communication Design students and the Natural History Museum.

To highlight the progress made in environmental science and technological development, offering a hopeful perspective on the future.

To create an interactive VR experience that fosters academic curiosity and deeper exploration of nature’s role in human and technological progress.

To inspire a positive outlook on environmental issues by emphasizing innovation, progress, and the potential for future solutions.

Target Audience: The target audience includes museum visitors.
SOLUTION:

The project utilizes Virtual Reality (VR) technology to create an interactive and dynamic environment, designed to engage users in academic exploration and spark curiosity about the intersection between nature and technology.

The experience revolves around a river that guides the user through a narrative, through interacting with the space (hovering over the text) information is revealed. There is also an option for further research through clicking links to informative videos relating to bio-tech and algae.

GLITCH (WEBXR /computation skills), ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR
